My 2004 Park Ave Ultra is a great family car and a great touring car. It gets siles and words of approval everywhere we go. 96,000 original miles on it so far, it might outlive me.

        Ultra, Supercharged 3800

        by organizm19 on 5/27/2023 6:14:08 AM

I was lucky in someone I knew at a dealership managed to snag me a 2003 Buick Park avenue ultra this year, 2023, that they received as a trade-in. This is my third and I absolutely love Buicks. They're comfortable, they're quiet, they're fairly quick and reliable (anyone who knows anything about cars is always told me the 3800 is the best engine GM ever built) and I love the style of these Buicks. Lesabre's as well. I've had 2 92' LeSabre's with a 3800 and now the Park avenue ultra with a supercharged 3800. The seats are fairly comfortable, the backseat more so. The ride is exceptionally smooth and the car just eats minor bumps in the road and sort of Baja's over larger ones. The exterior looks smooth and streamlined I suppose. This one's pretty well fully loaded, even the 12 disc CD changer in the trunk still works like a charm. It's quick and if you step on it it'll get a little squirrely. You could probably fit six people in the trunk. It requires premium gas but it gets 18 city, 28 highway. I've had it up to 31. You can easily get 200,000 miles if you take care of it, I've pushed my old LeSabers for more. I have five cigarette lighters or five places to plug things in. Cup holders in front and rear. Ashtrays in the rear with their own cigarette lighters or power access points. Power seats. Power windows. Power locks. Large glove box, two center console storage areas, one with a removable tray with a deeper storage area underneath. Moonroof. Programmable garage door opener. Heads up display. Automatic dimming mirrors. I love Buicks and I adore this vehicle. It's worth having to put premium gas into. It's a thrill to drive and comfortable as could be. You can fit five in the seats and the luggage for five in the trunk with room to spare. This is one of my favorite cars that I've ever owned if not my favorite. I love the look and I love the performance as well as the comfort. The only car I would like better than this was a 2005 Buick Park avenue off road special edition or whatever that is called exactly. Very slick, amazingly fun to drive.
